What were your favorite subjects in high school and why?

History was always my favorite- I liked the story.

 

What were your strengths academically?

I was not a great student, but my biggest strength was my work ethic

 

How many years have you been teaching? Why did you choose CHS?

10 years- Teaching at CHS was my dream job when I was in high school.

 

What was the best piece of advice you were given in high school?

“Math is a game. You learn the rules. You follow the rules, you practice the rules.” Judy Floyd (9th and 10th grade math). I’ve applied that idea to teaching as well as life.

 

Who was your most inspirational teacher and why?

Coach Hall-  Because he knew how to motivate with tough love, but he picked you up when you were down.

 

Describe your life using a movie title?

Rocky 4

 

What is your biggest goal in life? Have you achieved it? If not what is your plan to?

To leave a legacy of Godliness towards others. It’s a work in progress.

 

What piece of advice would you give to seniors?

Read, read, read “Head up, eyes up, always!”

 

What extracurricular activates were you involved in? How did that help you as a student?

Football and Wrestling, Both taught me discipline, loyalty, and teamwork.
